you to answer those questions. Upward Bound is currently accepting online applications to
select 60 Altoona High School students to participate in this exciting new program. If you
attended the Upward Bound presentation in November, you already know about UB’s
college visits, tutoring assistance, stipends, summer programming, and meeting students
from other UB high schools. Here’s one more chance for you to take advantage of this
FREE opportunity. Need a graphing calculator to help you with your homework? Anyone
who completes a UB application before break will be included in a drawing for a brand-new
TI-84 graphing calculator! The winner will be selected from those students who apply – or
have applied – between November and Friday, December 23rd. Don’t miss out. Stop in the

Attention Seniors: Could you use money for college or trade/vocational school? Don’t miss
out on the Live Mas Scholarship from the Taco Bell Foundation! This $25,000 scholarship is
unique with no grades required! Students make a two-minute video talking about their
passions and how they’re pursuing them. How awesome is that? Don’t delay – deadline is
