Track and field starts March 6

Track and Field. There are many different events for students to choose from. Some events are, distance running, sprinting, jumping, pole vault, etc.

Track and field is an outdoor sport that takes place during the spring. There are 18 different events overall. There are 11 running events and seven field events. 

Track and field is beneficial for many reasons. Being a multi-sport athlete is important, especially in high school.  Track and field will help athletes improve their speed and strength which ultimately makes them stronger athletes.  Running is a life-long sport that has many health benefits and can be very social,” head coach Paula Foreman said.
