Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “This is my first year swimming.” 

Q: Why did you decide to join the team?

A: “I joined the swim team because I wanted something to do in the winter.” 

Q: How do you feel about your senior season ending?

A: “I am sad to see the season end.”

Q: Are you going to college? If so, what do you plan to major in and will you continue swimming in college?

A: “I am going to IUP for environmental engineering. I don’t plan on swimming in college.”

Q: What is your favorite memory from swimming?

A: “My favorite memory is just messing around with my friends in the locker room.”

Q: What is/are your favorite event(s)?

A: “My favorite event is the 400 freestyle relay.  My favorite memory from competing was dropping 20 seconds in my 100 freestyle.” 

Q: Have you had any challenges or obstacles during your swimming career and how did you face them?

A: “About halfway through the season, I started to burn out, but I drove myself to keep swimming. I was encouraged by my teammates to keep going.”

Q: What is your advice for younger students on the team?

A: “Respect your teammates and practice hard.”
