Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “I’ve been swimming for four years”

Q: Why did you decide to join the team?

A: “I joined the swim team because I had some friends on the team and I thought it would be good exercise.”

Q: How do you feel about your senior season ending?

A: “It’s a little bittersweet, but it was a great time.”

Q: Are you going to college? If so, what do you plan to major in and will you continue swimming in college?

A: “I’m going to PSU University Park, and I’ll be majoring in data science, and I will possibly join the intramural swim team there.”

Q: What is your favorite memory from swimming?

A: “My favorite memories are the ones where it was just the guys bonding after meets and practices in the locker room.”

Q: What is/are your favorite event(s)?

A: “My favorite events are the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke (and maybe 100 breaststroke too).”

Q: Have you had any challenges or obstacles during your swimming career and how did you face them?

A: “I have had obstacles, and I tackled them with hard work and determination and of course support from my teammates.”

Q: What is your advice for younger students on the team?

A: “The advice I would give is no matter how bad it gets, always see it through because along with the bad there is always good.”
