Q: Why did you decide to join the team?

Q: How do you feel about your senior season ending?

A: “It is bittersweet. It is sad knowing that it is officially over and it is just one more step closer to graduation. But, it is also nice I’m moving on to work for my future.”

Q: Are you going to college? If so, what do you plan to major in and will you continue swimming in college?

A: “Yes. I am going into a pre-physician assistant program. I won’t be swimming in college because I want to focus on my studies and working.”

Q: What is your favorite memory from swimming?

A: “The bus rides home from away meets.”

Q: What is/are your favorite event(s)?

A: “200 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke.”

Q: Have you had any challenges or obstacles during your swimming career and how did you face them?

A: “I struggled with having the motivation to go to practices, but then I realized how much I enjoy being around the team.”

Q: What is your advice for younger students on the team?

A: “You’re only going to get somewhere if you work for it. Have fun with it. Don’t be so negative. Negativity only brings yourself and everyone else down and it will only make it miserable.”
