Attention Students: Monday is the deadline for submitting your artistic creations to Et cetera,
Altoona High’s very own art and literary magazine. You can ask any art or English teacher for
more information, or you can talk to Mrs. Lowe (in room A213 and online at
[email protected]) for how to submit your work. Don’t miss out on this chance to have
your work published in this year’s magazine!

Attention Friends of Rachel Members: The next meeting will be on Friday, April 28 th during 5 th
and 6 th periods. Passes are now ready for pickup in the library. Students must have attended
at least three meetings and have fewer than 5 demerits to attend. Passes must be signed by
your 5 th and 6 th period teachers and returned to the library by Tuesday the 25 th – BEFORE THE
MEETING.

Attention Seniors: All library books are due Monday, April 24. Our Skyward system will turn
all late books into fines. To avoid a fine on Skyward, books must be returned by Monday.

Attention Mrs. Hogan’s biology and zoology students: Please respond to the Trout Release
Trip Survey and pick up a permission slip in room B318. If you have any questions, please
email Mrs. Hogan.

Attention Seniors: Applications are now being accepted for the Kai Burkett Memorial
Scholarship. You must have a 3.5 GPA or higher, must be an athlete, and must engage in the
great outdoors in some fashion. Deadline is May 12 th .

Attention Juniors and Seniors – Prom guest forms are available in both the junior and senior
assistant principals’ offices as well as outside of B120. The forms are due by Friday, May 5 th . If
you need help completing the form, please stop in and ask Mrs. Dumm in B120. Please check

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Interested in earning a free tux for prom from Men’s
Wearhouse? If so, sign up to be a Prom Ambassador. As a Prom Ambassador, all you need to
