My name is Madison Aboud and I am a sophomore at AAHS. This is my second year on Mountain Echo staff and my first year as an Associate Editor. In Jr. high, I was a reporter on the AAJHS Livewire. In my free time, you can find me reading or singing along to my favorite show-tunes. I’ve always had a passion for writing. My ultimate goal after high school is to become a professional journalist. Outside of Mountain Echo, I am in band, chorus, vocal ensemble, student council and Friends of Rachel. I strive to make sure students of AAHS are finding out everything they need to know within a timely manner. I can’t wait for another great year!
My name is Addisen McDonald, and I'm a first year staff member on the Mountain Echo. Along with newspaper, I'm also a third year member of the Horseshoe yearbook staff in the position of design editor. Outside of the journalism classroom, I spend my time binge watching "Greys Anatomy," collecting fun sunglasses and practicing baton. This school year I was given the opportunity to be the AAHS feature twirler, which is leading me to achieve my dream goal of becoming a crimsonette at the University of Alabama. I'm so excited to be on staff this year and, as always, roll tide.
Hey everyone! My name is Charlie, I'm a junior and Associate Editor of the Mountain Echo. I was on the Livewire staff in Jr High and Mt Echo staff since 10th grade. I have had a passion for writing since 4th grade and even promised my 4th grade ELA teacher that I would publish a book some day. My main goals in life are to go into the medical field at Pitt. Whenever I am not at school, I enjoy watching Netflix, reading and hanging out with my boyfriend. I'm super excited to write stories to keep you guys updated on everything going on here at our school!
My name is Miley Naugle, I am a 10th grade reporter on the AAHS Mountain Echo. This is my second year on the staff and my third year as a reporter. My favorite thing to do as a part of the staff, was take photos. I started writing on the Livewire staff in 8th grade. I love to take photos and write sports stories. I also like to run, I have been running since 7th grade. I run Cross Country and long distance for Track. I am part of the Student Council and I am also in chorus. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending time with my little sister.
My name is Ryan Longstreth, and I'm a senior. This is my second year on the Mountain Echo staff! I've always loved creative writing and have been writing since I was a kid. I play snare drum in the marching band and am a percussionist in the wind ensemble and symphonic orchestra. I'm also a member of the drama club, vocal ensemble and Scholastic Scrimmage quiz bowl team. After high school, I wish to attend Pennsylvania State University at the Eberly College of Science in order to pursue a master's degree in chemistry. I love all kinds of music, ranging from showtunes to classic rock. When I'm not busy with school, I enjoy I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing video games and watching movies. I'm happy to be able to be able to write for the Mountain Echo for another year!
My name is Megan Shultz, and I am an associate editor on the Mt. Echo staff. Ever since I was young I would spend my free time writing stories for my family. Now, entering my senior year, I still get excited to show them my work. When I'm not reading or writing, I love to dance and hangout with my friends. Once I graduate, I hope to attend Mount Aloysius for their sonography program. Until then, I'm looking forward to my senior year and the awesome memories I will make.
