At the Homecoming assembly, teachers excite students for Homecoming by demonstrating the games to students, giving them a taste of game night.

Game night will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2 in the field house. Tickets will be for sale at the door for only $2. All family and friends are welcome to come out and support the candidates.

Games included rolling yams, covering a partner in toilet paper, catching whip cream in mouths and more.

“We started [prepping for homecoming] the end of last year and over the summer. Our biggest event is games night, so we had to start pulling game ideas. We also had to test them to make sure they work,” President of Homecoming Committee Jamya Veloz said.

Candidates will compete with their running team against one another, the winning teams will earn extra points towards Homecoming.
