ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: If you are looking for a calm, focused way to start the day, you
may want to think about joining the Morning Mindfulness Group. If you would like to join, or
learn more about Morning Mindfulness, stop in and see Mrs. Lucas in the Library this week.
The library is by the open cafeteria and computer help desk. Mindfulness will start on
Monday!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Student Council will be having their first meeting on Thursday,
September 1 st at 7AM at the Theater Commons area. All are welcome to attend.

Attention potential Homecoming Candidates: If you would like to be the next AAHS
Homecoming Royal, please see your advisor or coach to run. Your advisor or coach has been
emailed a copy of this year’s Homecoming Packet that includes candidate information. Chosen
candidates from coaches or advisors must be submitted to Mrs. Curry by no later than Friday,
September 3rd. Any questions, please see Mrs. Curry. The Homecoming Royal will be crowned at
Friday, October 1st’s football game.

Attention students: Would you like to have a say in this year’s Homecoming Games Night and
theme days? If so, the Homecoming Committee would like your ideas! Mrs. Curry will be accepting
applications for membership now through Friday, September 3rd. You may pick up an application in
room B226 during the school day. The application is due back to Mrs. Curry in room B226 by Friday,
September 3rd at 3pm. You will receive an acceptance pass via email by Tuesday, September 7th if
selected.
