The Altoona Area Vocal Ensemble is set to sing during pregame at the Sept. 9 and Sept. 19 football games at Mansion Park. 

“We are performing the Star Spangled Banner and the Alma Mater, which is typically what we do at football games,” Vocal Ensemble Adviser Kelly Sipes said. “I’m very excited; I think we sound awesome, and I love the chance to get out and perform in the community. I think everyone in the group enjoys performing, so that’s what makes everything super fun for us is getting to use our skills and showcase them.”

Student tickets for the games will be sold at the gate for $2.
