Q: What are you representing for the school?

A: Boys’ Tennis 

Q: Why do you believe people should vote for you?

A: I believe people should vote for me because I not only am the only guy running, but I want to represent that it is okay to be different.  I wanted to run for Homecoming, knowing usually all girls run and it is “weird” for a guy to run, so I did.  Don’t be afraid to be the change in the “norm”.

Q: What are you most looking forward to during Homecoming week?

A: I am most excited for theme week.

Q: Why did you decide to run for Homecoming royalty? 

A: Following up with the previous question, I wanted to run for Homecoming because, from my knowledge, since AAHS stopped crowning a Homecoming King and Queen and started crowning one winner in general, it has been a female winner and hasn’t been a male.  Therefore, I wanted to be the first male Homecoming Royal winner and show people it is okay to be different.  

Q: If you’re chosen as royalty, how will you fulfill your responsibilities?

A: If I am chosen for King, I would first fulfill the responsibilities in myself.  I feel that I will be more aware of people around the school that feel different and don’t feel that they belong.  I then would try my hardest to include them in school spirit events, having more conversations with fellow classmates, etc.  I want everyone to feel safe and included.
