Special North Pole Report: Elves set to strike

Kids may be receiving no presents this Christmas season after Santa’s elves go on strike.

“We are angry with the bad working conditions and treatment we have been receiving at the North Pole,” Director of Toys Joy Elf said.

The elves are in a flurry after Santa banned “wrap” music in the toy factory creating another bad working condition for the elves.

“Santa replaced our ‘wrap’ music with Jingle Bells – more like jingle smells,” Elf said.

The elves are also upset with the lack of food in the cafeteria.

“We have hit a snow storm when it comes to getting maple syrup. Without it the elves are greedy and elfish,” Head of the North Pole Santa Claus said.

Not only are the elves mad but the reindeer as well.

“All we have are deerios; it’s just not enough to spring from roof to roof though the night. Luckily our great view of ‘reinbows’ and Northern Lights help me guide my team through the dark,” Deer in Charge Rudolph said.

The elves refuse to go back to work until their pay gets raised, and they receive better food.

“Instead of four chocolate coins and eight candy canes, we demand eight chocolate coins and 16 candy canes. And Mrs. Claus’ shortbread for lunch has to go; no wonder we are so tiny,” Elf said.
