Smiling brightly, the Student Council shows both their holiday and school spirit. The club members have planned a variety of other activities to give back to the community around the holidays, such as the holiday food basket drive.

On Monday, Dec. 12, the Student Council will host a holiday party for the kids of school employees. The event will take place from 6-7:30 p.m., but set up for it will begin at 4:30 p.m.

“It’s so nice to do things for faculty members’ families. Just something extra so that they know they are appreciated. The kids really enjoyed it last year. We have snacks; we have games. We have the band coming to play some songs and Santa is going to come visit,” Student Council adviser Stephanie McAleer said.

The event will also include crafts, a planetarium show and more, all to give back to the staff. Student Council members must sign up to help by using the form on Google Classroom.
