Announcements for 12/6/2023

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2023

Attention Astronomy Club: Our next meeting takes place this Thursday from
2:50-3:20 PM in the Planetarium. You will receive permission slips for the club’s new and improved holiday party to be held Tuesday, December 19th. What better way to spread holiday cheer than by destroying your friends at trivia, and showing them who is the alpha once and for all. Then take your victory lap around Lights on the Lake for good measure. Learn about this and the other festivities the evening holds at our club meeting this Thursday after school. Hope to see you there!

Attention athletes: Any athlete who earned a letterman’s jacket this fall can be fitted for it this Thursday, December 7th from 2:15-3:30 in the high school training room.

Attention Mrs. Kline’s African American History class: Please report to B312 (Mrs. Kline’s room) and NOT the Black Box theater for the guest speakers on Thursday and Friday. Again, report to B312. For spring students, also bring the pass that you were given.

Thank you to all of the students and teachers who participated in the November Mountain Echo scavenger hunt. The three winners from the drawing are Rylan Cagle, Teagan Snowberger, and Aubrey Ventura. Congratulations!

Attention Students: If you have ever thought about enlisting in the Air Force, then you will want to visit with a rep today during lunch periods.

Attention Junior Academy of Science Club Members: We will be holding a meeting for anyone who is considering competing on Thursday afternoon in the library at 2:45 pm. We will meet in the computer lab to discuss competition and prepare you to start your projects. Hope to see you then! Think Science!
