Haley strides for bright future

Junior Haley Tanzi aspires to do real estate when she graduates. Wherever she ends up, she knows she has a strong passion for real estate and finance, and she will work hard to achieve her goals.

While Tanzi’s family does not have a history in real estate, they do have a history with like-minded topics.

“We have a history of finance and business, stuff like that,” Tanzi said.

Tanzi started doing work for the yearbook.

“I’ve been the business manager since last year, my sophomore year,” Tanzi said.

Tanzi was mentored when she first started by senior Danielle Bardelang.

“She had a lot to do so she let me take over the business management, and I loved it,” Tanzi said.

When Bardelang graduated, Tanzi was left with a decision.

“My freshman year, I was associate editor and then got put into the management role, Addisen McDonald took over design, and I’ve been working management ever since,” Tanzi said

Yearbook could help Tanzi achieve her ideal future.

“I think knowing how to talk business with people will help me with companies and things like that, and it could overall benefit me,” Tanzi said.

Tanzi wants to achieve her ultimate goal of becoming a boss in the financial or real estate world someday.

“I want to be my own boss, or have a business with someone. I really want to work for myself. I hope to achieve a goal in real estate that I don’t even know of. Something that I don’t know can happen until it does,” Tanzi said.

Tanzi wants to eventually become her own boss and achieve financial success. With the help of yearbook knowledge and experience with business, she hopes to use it to her advantage and fulfill her dream.
