Attention Astronomy Club and FLC: Tonight’s epic Trivia Night and Lights on the Lake field trip begins at 4:30PM. Please enter school via the 13th Street Planetarium entrance. We will play up to four rounds of holiday and astronomy trivia, while enjoying pizza and the Holiday Bake-Off, where one student will win the prized Golden Spatula trophy. There hasn’t been a trivia challenge this intense since Mrs. Lowe began her Scholastic Scrimmage dynasty here years ago. After trivia, we will board buses and go shopping at the Logan Towne Centre, capping off our night with a trip through Lights on the Lake. Bring a jacket and holiday spirit. Don’t miss it!
Attention Seniors: The Pennsylvania Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate is an organization that believes “that service to humanity is the best work of life.” The JCI Senate annually sponsors a scholarship program for senior students who are PA residents and plan to continue their education. To find out more, please stop by the Guidance Office literature rack for specifics. Deadline is January 19th.
Seniors: The deadline to apply for the Bud Lutty Scholarship is fast approaching. Emailed applications must be submitted by December 31st.
Attention Juniors: Are you planning on attending college after graduation? If so, the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc. is announcing their scholarship program for Juniors who have a significant financial need. Please stop by the literature rack outside of Guidance for more information. The deadline for accepting applications is March 15th.
