Achievement Through Dedication: The Challenge Awards occur yearly. Each year, students are selected to receive a series of awards in recognition of accomplishments such as perfect attendance, academic achievements, and more. The Challenge Awards were established to give students who excel in various areas an opportunity to earn both recognition and monetary rewards. This year's challenge was sponsored by American Eagle Paper Mills. The 2025–26 school-year winners included Meleah Schmittle, Caleb Terza, Camillie Krug, Maya Quirin, Melissa Krainer, Hayden Eichenlaub, Sophia Moran, Cori Desch, Archie Glover, and Kinsley Palilla.

My name is Adrielle McNeal, and this is my second year as a Mountain Echo staff member. I took Intro to Pub my freshman year, and fell in love with the class. Along with Mountain Echo, I am an editor for the Horseshoe yearbook. Balancing both classes can be a lot, but it’s worth it. I also participate in the drama club and Black Student Union.
