Students tend to favor certain subjects over others, whether their favorite is math, English, history or science. Some enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems, while others find inspiration in writing essays or uncovering stories from the past. No matter the subject, each student has a class that holds their interest and keeps them motivated to learn more and more.
For sophomore Marrissa Kanoff, math is her favorite.
“I am kind of good at it, and I like how it challenges my brain,” Kanoff said.
Freshman Draycen Patterson’s favorite class is Spanish.
“It’s fun, and I like to learn Spanish,” Patterson said. “It is a lot different than a lot of my other classes so I enjoy school more.”
Sophomore Bella Jones’s favorite subject is math.
“I like my teacher, Mr. McKinney, he teaches me very well,” Jones said.
Sophomore Addyson Seilhamer’s favorite class is English.
“I love writing,” Seilhamer said. “It helps me express what I think and it is also very peaceful.”
Sophomore Layla Settlemyer’s favorite subject is math.
“I have Mr. McKinney, and he always lets us do group work. I think it helps me learn more,” Settlemyer said.
Sophomore Orchid Ismail’s favorite class is math.
“I like it because it is a fun class, my teacher Mr. Adams makes the class fun and interesting,” Ismail said.
Whether students are drawn to the creativity of English, the challenge of math, or the uniqueness of learning a new language, each subject offers something meaningful.
