Fine Arts Department will travel to New York City

Fireworks. After a day in Magic Kingdom, park goers got to the castle early in order to watch “Happily Ever After,” a fireworks show featuring music and scenes from some of the most popular Disney movies.

The Fine Arts Department will be going to New York on May 27, 2026. The Fine Arts Department does this trip to celebrate all the accomplishments of all the departments throughout the entire year, as well as a good educational experience to see theater and different shows and to learn more about the differences in the real world.

“Time to celebrate, have fun and time to celebrate outside of Blair County,” choral director Brett Keith said.

This trip is for all students who are in band, chorus, orchestra and drama club. The Fine Arts Department takes an end of the year trip every year. These trips include: New York, an amusement park and Disney World.
