Student council club will be collecting cans of soup to support the Mt. Lion backpack program at the Sept. 20 football game against Central Dauphin East at Mansion Park. 

This year’s student council club is advised by Kim Shope and Paula Dibert.

This collection is included in the September activities by the student council club. The Mt. Lion backpack program helps students in the district.   

“We are looking forward to an active school with many traditional events and opportunities for students to grow as team members and leaders,” student council adviser Shope said.

At the next student council meeting, members are to bring a soup can of their own to start the collection.
