Ugly sweater day set for Dec. 22
December 18, 2020
Open the closet and push away the nice clothes, it’s ugly sweater day! Just in time for Christmas get in the holiday spirit by wearing the ugliest Christmas sweater you can find. On Tuesday Dec. 22nd students, teachers and staff are encouraged to bring out their creativity by wearing the most ugly sweater they can find or make. Some teachers are thinking of giving out extra credit for any student wearing a ugly sweater on camera during class on Dec. 22.
“I also like the idea of ugly sweaters that you only wear once a year. It’s like a festive tradition to wear itchy cotton that has ugly colors on it. Ugly sweaters are also easy to find, you see them on the mannequins in Old Navy and Boscovs, or you can make one. 2020 has been a tough year for all of us, hopefully this will bring joy to the students of AAHS,” sophmore Tori Van Klavern said.
