On Friday, March 18, the boy’s tennis team will travel to Indiana to compete. They get an early start to their season, also playing Tyrone and Kiski the next week.

Following tennis, boy’s volleyball starts with a home meet on Friday, March 25. Both varsity and junior varsity teams face off against Central High School.

Girl’s softball plays at Bellwood-Antis High School on Monday, March 28, kicking off their season.

Next, boys’ baseball kicks off with a game against Cedar Cliff High School. The game takes place at mansion park on March 29.

Finally, on April 4, Mansion park hosts the Altoona Igloo invitational. The igloo is an annual invitational that attracts many schools in the area to compete. Since it is an invitational, coaches only select certain athletes to participate in the igloo.

“I am like a kid on Christmas every time that track season starts,” Coach Michael Adams said.
