Just dance. Students at last year’s dance let loose at Homecoming.

Tickets are now on sale for the Homecoming dance. Tickets will be available through Thursday Oct. 5. Students may purchase tickets for $5 during their lunch period or before or after school adjacent to the student store.

“I can not stress enough that you must have your ID with you when you come in,” adviser Jessica Hogan said.

This year, the Homecoming dance will have a disco theme. This is the first year the dance will have a theme. Tickets will not be sold at the door, so those who wish to attend the dance must purchase a ticket beforehand. Tickets can not be purchased for someone else. Students who have five or more demerits will not be able to purchase a ticket.

My name is Ryan Longstreth, and I'm a senior. This is my second year on the Mountain Echo staff! I've always loved creative writing and have been writing since I was a kid. I play snare drum in the marching band and am a percussionist in the wind ensemble and symphonic orchestra. I'm also a member of the drama club, vocal ensemble and Scholastic Scrimmage quiz bowl team. After high school, I wish to attend Pennsylvania State University at the Eberly College of Science in order to pursue a master's degree in chemistry. I love all kinds of music, ranging from showtunes to classic rock. When I'm not busy with school, I enjoy I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing video games and watching movies. I'm happy to be able to be able to write for the Mountain Echo for another year!

Myah Lear, Media Manager
Hi! I am Myah Lear. I am a senior and I'm the media manager of the AAHS Mountain Echo staff. I have played viola since the fourth grade. After school, I hope to attend college for  journalism. I made honors classes in everything except Algebra. My friends describe me as a caring, geeky, quirky person, and I take all of these as a compliment! I am excited to see what my senior year will bring and to make some new friends throughout my high school career. One of my main hobbies is singing. Most people consider it to be one of my better talents. I also love  anything that has to do with art. I like to paint, take pictures and draw. I also enjoy video games, movies and TV shows. I like to read, even though I don’t do it much. If I had to choose my favorite author it would be Brigid Kemmerer, and my favorite books would be "Letters to the Lost" and "More Than We Can Tell," both by Kemmerer. I look forward to writing for the school newspaper, and getting to know my new fellow staff members!

Hi Haiden, Check in with the sales table in front of the student council store. We don’t think fines impact dance attendance but Mrs. Hogan is in charge of that function.

Fines do not impact attendance, only discipline infractions do.
Hope to see everyone rock it out at the Homecoming Dance!
