Varsity football to play Mifflin County in playoff game

Shining under the lights! Varsity football plays Carlisle Oct. 20.

The varsity football team takes on Mifflin County again on Friday, Nov. 3. The teams played against each other earlier this season and Altoona secured a win by scoring 35-0 on Sept. 8.

“I’m looking forward to playing a couple more times under the lights with my brothers. I’m really nervous because they have something to play for and we have something to play for too,’’ sophomore Logan Wuckovich said.

This game is a playoff game, and Altoona will play against State College if they win.

Make sure to head out to Mifflin County at 7 p.m. this Friday to watch Altoona take them on once again.
