From March 11 through 14, students can pay $1 to their homeroom teachers to wear a hat to raise money for the non-profit Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.

“I volunteer at a local nonprofit shelter. And I wanted to find more ways to help them out with shelter,” freshman Carter Keagy said. “I hope we get a lot of people who participate in hat day and want to do a teacher dress down day. And I’m hoping that that turns out well as well.”

Teachers also have the opportunity of a dress down day, also in support of Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.
