The girls’ volleyball team will go up against Hollidaysburg on Sept. 15 in the annual Erin Dodson game. This game happens every year in honor of 2004 graduate Erin Dodson who passed away due to a brain tumor in 2012. Dodson spent her entire high school career playing volleyball.
“Dodson’s game is so important because of Erin, and everything that Erin represents, the battle that Erin endured during her life, the way in which she embraced that battle, and the attitude that she carried with her at all times, during and then after that battle, Erin is the epitome of a glass, half full person,” Coach John Saboe said.
Game times are 5:30 p.m. for J.V and 6:30 p.m. for varsity in the field house.
