The Altoona Area High School boys varsity wrestling team holds a current 6-0 record and has several meets throughout January. 

The wrestling team’s strong start to the season shows the pride Altoona Area High School has in its students and sports.

Some upcoming dates include:

Fri/Sat 1/9-10, Mid-Winter Mayhem Away TBA

Saturday, 1/17 Clearfield Duals Away 8:00 a.m.

Tuesday 1/20 Trinity Home 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday 1/21 Pine Richland Away 7:00 p.m.

Fireworks. After a day in Magic Kingdom, park goers got to the castle early in order to watch "Happily Ever After," a fireworks show featuring music and scenes from some of the most popular Disney movies.
Fine Arts Department will travel to New York City
Happy Holidays. The Orchestra performed during the annual holiday concert on Dec. 12. The String Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble, Concert Chorus and Symphonic Orchestra also performed.

My name is Aleeya Rowles, and it’s my first year on the Mountain Echo staff. As a Sophomore, I am also involved in yearbook, Sophomore Executive Committee, the Altoona softball team and the Maniacs. I spend most of my time playing softball, painting and hanging out with friends.
