On Feb. 26, The String Spectacular will consist of many grades across multiple schools, representing all orchestras. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. and tickets for admission are $4.
“It is a combined concert,” Orchestra Director Jennifer Kist said. “It’s partly to show the elementary students what they are going to get to experience in junior high and high school. It’s partly to introduce those parents to the orchestra program, and it’s also a chance for the bigger kids to get to work with the younger kids, and vice versa.”
Junior Quinn Phillips is excited for the concert, but has some nerves as well.
“The most difficult part is probably being nervous about it, and you can mess up at times. Try to stay calm and enjoy the concert, because it’s fun too,” Phillips said.
