The AAHS Marching Band participated in Band Bash here at the high school on March 15, 2022. Those who play instruments in the band, came together to perform a concert and connect with those who are younger and plan on playing for the band in the future. These age groups range from elementary to high school.

“This is a concert we do every year, and it always goes really well,” band instructor Larry Detwiler said. “The neat thing about it is having the elementary kids here because they only get to do one or two concerts a year. For them to be able to come and play at our school and see all of the older kids playing makes it a really exciting night for them. There’s always a really big audience, due to the fact that there’s so many age groups gathering together in one tonight to perform in the same area, and it’s just a great night overall.”
