Maniacs continue football themes

White Out. Maniacs declared the first home game a white out. Students painted faces and dressed accordingly.

Students are encouraged to participate in the Mountain Lion Maniac themes every Friday at the Altoona football games.

‘’We do anything to try and create a sense of community in high school involvement with different activities, especially sports and just trying to increase school spirit.’’ advisor Carolyn Kline said.

The Maniacs hope to draw attendance and make students look like more of a group on the same team.

The next home game is Cowboy themed for childhood cancer awareness on Sept. 22.

My name is Cevin Dively. I took yearbook class in eighth grade, and found it interesting, so I decided to continue on with it in the high school. I took Intro to pub, and learned a lot more, then got placed in newswriting for my sophomore year. Aside from newswriting, I'm a Lioneer and dance competitively for a new, local studio. I can't wait to begin another amazing year.
