Fall parent-teacher conferences in early October

There will be parent-teacher conferences held on Oct. 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with another opportunity to meet Oct. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Students will not have school Friday, Oct. 10.

“Parent teacher conferences benefit both the teacher and the student’s family in many ways. The teacher is able to communicate with the student’s family about their strengths and any areas of struggle the student may be having at the beginning of the school year,” teacher Samantha Fickes said. 

Students will not have school Friday, Oct. 10.

One last time. On May 7 the boys volleyball senior night was held. Both JV and Varisty won their games. The Varsity game winning point was made by senior Noah Diventura.

My name is Trey, and I am a sophomore. This is my first year as a reporter, and I hope to continue until graduation. Aside from school, I mostly volunteer at my church. I will be starting to volunteer at the Altoona hospital as well. When I am in school, I enjoy swimming with my classmates. I am a part of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and this will be my second year. When I graduate, I plan to start working on my future job. This is also my first year on Horseshoe yearbook staff. I also enjoy spending time with my brother and his fiancé when I am out of school.
