School should start later. Even if it started one hour later, students could get more sleep.
Starting later will benefit students a lot. This will help students to be more energized and in a better mood. Many teens stay up late and waking up early has a big effect on how students do in school. They may sleep in class and not feel motivated to do school work. Waking up later could help students to get better grades. Waking up early and having to come to school affects how well the brain works.
School starting later can also benefit teachers. They will have more time to prepare for the day, and they too can get more sleep. When teaching, many students may be sleeping and not paying attention. The later starting time may fix this problem.
The best way to fix this problem and make this change is by switching high school and elementary school times. Younger kids can function a lot better than teens when it comes to waking up early.

I agree, it can help students because from going from starting at 9 am in elementary to 7 am in Middle School and HighSchool causes students to get a worsened magnitude of sleep, social interactions, scheduling, grades, and more. even if we change it to 8 am that can drastically affect students in better ways with the ideas mentioned before. this can also help teachers by helping them have more grading time, have them be more awake, have them be more aware, and also have them be able to spend some more time with family.
