On March 30, Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf ordered K-12 school buildings to remain “closed until further notice” in an indefinite period of time through April 30. This closure is a part of the Commonwealth’s ongoing efforts to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.

This closure order from Wolf extends the one he issued last week that indicated schools would remain closed through at least April 6. All school buildings have been closed since March 16 over COVID-19 concerns.

“We’re going to keep our schools and businesses closed as long as we need to keep them closed to keep Pennsylvania safe,” Wolf said.
