Football gets chance to go 2-0 against rival team

Get ready! Number 23, Nick Petucci, get sets before the play starts. This year the Mountain Lions play Hollidaysburg at home.

On Friday Oct. 2 the football team will be facing local rival team Hollidaysburg. After winning the first game in the season, the team has a chance to start the year 2-0. The last time the Mountain Lions went 2-0 was in 2007. 

“We’ve worked very hard these past two weeks to show them [Hollidaysburg] what we can do. Myself and the team are really excited to get the chance to go 2-0,” team captain Marcus Day said.

Last year the Mountain Lions lost 35-21.  The Mountain Lions play Hollidaysburg at home this year.
