New camera policy introduced

Ben Blackie, Editor In Chief

On Monday  Dec. 7, the school announced a new rule for students to leave their cameras on during live stream classes.

In an effort to increase student engagement we are now making cameras mandatory while in a Zoom Meeting or Google Meet.  Over the past few weeks we have noticed that engagement and in-turn achievement are lagging.  It is our goal to change that trend by adopting this policy regarding cameras,” Principal Andrew Neely said.

The purpose of the new rule is to encourage more class participation and accountability. Those who wish to express their concerns for this new rule can email Principal Andrew  Neely at [email protected]
