On Aug. 24, the marching band will showcase the new stadium lights to the public with a performance at Mansion Park.

“I think it is really exciting, and it is quite a compliment,” band director Larry Detwiler said. “They could have asked anyone to be out there that night, but they asked us. ”

The band will perform at 8:30 p.m. for the public.
