Beginning in February, French II, III and AP classes will begin building their Manie Musicale brackets. Manie Musicale is a competition similar to March Madness. The only difference is that instead of basketball teams, participants will choose French songs. Sixteen songs were nominated this year, and participants will build their brackets based on which ones they think are best. 

“I am excited for Manie Musicale because I have never participated in something like this, and it is interesting to see a whole new culture of music coming from France,” French II student Ava Cabell said. 

The competition will begin on March 1. Students can advance to regional, state and national competitions depending on their scores.
