Project Lit is an informal club that hosts monthly book readings. Students can connect with Nicole Harris in room B309, Kelli Livermore in room B212 or Tanya Lucas, the school librarian.

“Project Lit is a book club at the high school where we commit ourselves to read culturally relevant books. It is a national book club, and we hold a chapter. We want to read books where we see ourselves in them. We pick a different book each month. Anyone is welcome to join. We want to highlight voices in stories of students with diversity. Our goal is to empower students to be passionate readers,” Livermore said.

If anyone is interested in attending the next club meeting it will be held on Friday, Sept. 27.
