On Dec. 11, 2021 the Altoona School District will host the District 6 cheerleading competition. It will be taking place at 10:00 a.m. in the fieldhouse. This squad has been preparing every Tuesday and Thursday to perform for this singular competition.

“These girls have worked hard every second of every practice. Through all of the changes made and the obstacle of missing team members, I trust that they are going to compete beyond our expectations,” assistant coach Kalyn Sines said. 

They will perform a two minute and thirty second routine that includes stunts and pyramids, tumbling, jumps, a cheer and a dance. The cheerleaders will be scored on all of these aspects. There will be multiple schools there to compete and see who will become the District 6 champs.
