Introduction to publication students have written their first news briefs in class. Students write news briefs for upcoming events and tell what is going on in the community or in school. They all have a deadline on Dec. 3 but briefs will be published in the future. Some students already know how to write one, some are now just writing one for the first time. 

“I actually wrote for Livewire last year so news briefs aren’t a new concept for me, but I am still working hard to do my best work for my news brief on the upcoming swim meet,” Charlie Kephart said. 

Students who are writing news briefs are using all different topics. Not many students or adults know about the event happening in the community or in the school. Students are now bringing it to their attention.
