Lights on the Lake celebrates 32 years of business

As of 2021, Lights on the Lake has operated and pleased its viewers for 32 years. Many Altoona, Pa citizens attend the Lights on the Lake holiday light shows. It’s a way for friends and family to spend time together and enjoy the holiday season. 

“Yeah, I love Lights on the Lake, and I’ve liked going to it ever since it opened. I started to bring my kids every year, and we don’t get that family time now that we don’t go anymore,” Heather Estlow said.

Hundreds of cars line up outside of Lights on the Lake every winter to see the new improvements. Some of those attendees being students and family of the AASD. Lakemont includes new attractions and activities for unexpected enjoyment as time goes on. There is a scavenger hunt that is one of the many activities that is offered to viewers for fun as they drive through the LED light figure displays. The light show has grown over two miles in 32 years and continues to entertain Altoona citizens.
