Student council adviser Kimberly Shope is hosting a cereal drive from Feb. 1-28 to help local kids in need. Any student can drop off a box, or multiple boxes, of cereal to either the school store or a teacher who is participating in the drive. At the end of the month, the cereal will be donated to local food banks.

“It’s been over 10 years since we started the drive. It is one of our charitable activities that we do to pull the kids together and even our school together. Local food banks tell us anything we give them is more than they have had,” Shope said.
